She was right next to me a minute ago!

Yesterday, when she found the notepad and pen that I accidentally left within reach, I let her play with it to see what she'd do with it. For the most part, she just scribbled on the pad. When she got bored, she scribbled on herself. She was totally supervised so she never even thought of the walls.

Today was a whole different ball game. I was in the kitchen washing dishes while Abby played in the cabinets. I suddenly realized she was no longer in the kitchen so I went looking for her and this is what I found! This is why we put childproof locks on the bathroom doors. Of course, they only help if I actually remember to lock them (which I usually do).

Yep! Found Brogan in that exact spot a time or two myself. Now I'm moved the gate from my doorway and placed it across the hall just before the bathroom door (which is also before all the bedroom doors). Sneaky little tykes, aren't they??

Hee! Madeline had a lot of fun with some contraband purple eyeshadow two weeks ago - thankfully, she her application skills were lacking. I'd be embarrassed if she was better with make-up than I am :)

Wow, what a cute little stinker! As soon as Connor learned how to open doors and started flushing pacifiers down the toilet I had to buy those kid proof handles for our bathrooms and for our front door, too. It's amazing how fast and how quietly they can get away and into trouble!

We had regular knobs in Spokane, but all the doors have levers here. She never figured out the handles in Spokane, but we were here literally 5 minutes before she had the levers figured out! The first thing we did was go to Target to buy those locks for the bathroom doors.
